  1. loved it. “If you must, go ahead, but I’m still going to hold it against you.” also, the golfing reference sounds exactly like slogging through the last 4 holes in DeSoto in 97 degree July heat. The prospect of tacos and alarmingly inexpensive beer at Beer Thirty was the only saving grace.

  2. I bet if there were a phrase or word for that it would be in German, probably very similar to Gesundheit (or however that’s spelled). They have a word for everything (zeitgeist, gestalt, knochenmark, etc.). Problem is, most German words take as long to say as the phrase they are replacing. Great post. No one could ever say you are Redewendungen.
